Fulfilling The Kingdom Agenda

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • Yahweh is the only true and living G-d (Jeremiah 10:10).  He exists as One G-d Who is triune in His nature expressed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4 and Ephesians 4:5-6).

  • Yahweh is the Creator of heaven, earth, and all mankind (Genesis 1:1,26 and 2:7). He endowed mankind with a longing for intimate fellowship with Him as our Creator (Psalm 42:1-2).

  • Jesus (Yeshua HaMashiach), the Son of G-d, is the divine fullest revelation of G-d to mankind (John 1:1,14,18,10:30 and 1 Corinthians 8:6).  He is the Messiah that was promised during the Old Testament era Whose life, death and resurrection during the New Testament era made redemption available for the entire human race (Isaiah 7:14-15, 9:6-7, 53:1-10; Matthew 1:1-25, 8:17; and 1 Peter 2:24).

  • Sin is the result of mankind's disobedience to G-d's instructions, and caused separation between man and G-d (I John 3:4 and Genesis 2:16-17, 3:22-24).

  • The only provision for mankind to be reconciled to G-d is salvation through Jesus Christ (1 John 3:5-6). The grace resulting from Jesus' death and resurrection has been made available to anyone who has sinned, yet he or she must make the choice to receive this gift of salvation through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:6-11 and 10:9-10).

  • The Bible, consisting of both the Old (Tanakh) and New Testament (B’rit Hadashah), is the inspired word of G-d to man. It is the only reliable safe guide to faith and conduct.  (II Timothy 3:16-17).

  • Water Baptism is an essential part of the believer’s salvation through faith, and not merely a symbolic ritual. It is part of living a Kingdom lifestyle, and not just a requirement for local church membership. (John 3:5).

  • Baptism of the Holy Spirit is necessary for Kingdom living (Acts 1:8 and Ephesians 5:16-26). It is also evidenced by speaking in other tongues [both human and heavenly] as the Spirit of G-d gives utterance (Acts 2:1-11).

  • The Biblical Feast Days: We strive to honor the Sabbath, and observe Passover [Pesach], First Fruits [Resurrection[, Pentecost [Shavuot], Feast of Trumpets [Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashana], Day of Atonement [Yom Kippur], and Feast of Tabernacles [Sukkot] (Leviticus 23:1-44).  Such observation is essential to our Judeo-Christian heritage and for deepening our understanding of G-d's love and purposes for creation.
